This wonderful Patriotic Pattern was a request for a Wounded Heros Foundation auction! It was made to be queen sized with 7 large stars to represent the 7 branches of the Armed Forces, including the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Space Force, Coast Guard, and National Guard. I was also asked to make it a more modern design and this is what I came up with! The picture above is the quilt that was auctioned off in Bakersfield, CA in July 2022. It was appraised for $17,500!

More About the Quilt and Pattern:
The border is a paper pieced border and paper templates of each shape are included, however, it has fabric requirements included that allow you to make it with or without the paper pieced border.
The finished size is 76" x 96" with the border; without the border the finished size is 71" x 91".
The Pattern includes diagrams for each section, making it easier to piece together and 2 ways to make the flying geese depending on your preference. It also includes a coloring page for you to design your unique Spangled Stars quilt!
I can't wait to see what you create! Email me a picture or share on Social Media using the #spangledstarsquilt!
Paper Pattern will be available March 1st.
